We’re in a time when everything’s moving fast, including trends, technology, and even attention spans. But here’s the thing: some things deserve to move slowly. Like art. Like growth. Like the journey we’ve been on at Junoon. This edition is a snapshot of where we’ve been and where we’re headed, building something real and rooted.

What’s Next for Junoon?
Anchor in the Now: What We’ve Built (June–October 2025)
As we look back at the past few months, Junoon stands firmly anchored in its purpose to make classical arts a living, breathing part of contemporary education.
This season marked the launch of The Urban Manifesto, which distilled Junoon’s pedagogy and vision into a cohesive framework connecting art, learning, and life.
Our foundational courses expanded to reach new learners and communities, while performances like KAYA deepened the dialogue between Dance, education, and storytelling. The Gurukul-inspired model, rooted in mentorship, process-based learning, and residencies, continues to shape not just artists but reflective individuals. Along the way, collaborations and recognitions have affirmed Junoon’s growing presence within the classical arts ecosystem.
What’s Next for Junoon?
As we move forward, the question before us is one of evolution: how does Junoon grow from an initiative into an enduring institution?
The path ahead calls for structures that balance sustainability with spirit: stronger financial and administrative foundations, and pedagogical systems that preserve depth while allowing scale.
Our next focus is on Curriculum Deepening and Standardisation, developing a core framework that can be replicated and potentially accredited to ensure continuity and credibility. Alongside this, we aim to introduce teacher training modules that nurture educators who embody Junoon’s ethos of learning through art, reflection, and lived experience.
This next chapter is one of expansion with the intention of staying rooted in our values while reaching wider horizons.

With our first batch of professional training students now enrolled, we are focused on bridging the gap between training and employment, guiding them to become leaders and changemakers of the future.
As outlined in our Urban Manifesto, this is the stage where transformation begins, finding the right mentors, opportunities, and platforms to help our students grow into their next chapters.
At the same time, our creative curiosity continues to thrive. We are exploring new production opportunities, ensuring our professional batch is ready to step into performance the moment the stage calls.
Our foundation is more than just Dhasa; it is a movement meant to be accessible across cities and communities. The next step is to establish an urban institution, a one-stop centre for Classical Dance education, where students engage deeply with both theory and practice through a comprehensive, structured course.
This expansion will be gradual, sustainable, and true to our essence.
Importantly, this does not mean we move away from our rural outreach. We remain deeply committed to bringing Classical Dance to children in villages, giving them a chance to dream, discover themselves, and envision a future shaped by art.
Junoon is steadily being recognised as both a future production house and a holistic education space, founded on the belief that a Dance practice room can teach everything in life.
We are transforming, becoming more accessible, reliable, and empowering for our students. Every new program, structure, and collaboration strengthens our foundation, making us not just better educators but a stronger, more unified community of artists.
These developments are not just milestones; they are movements, each one pushing us closer to the vision of making classical arts both timeless and timely.
